How we collect, use, share and protect personal data — on our website, when you contact us and when we deliver goods to you.

Last updated: October 12, 2026

01Introduction

ColliXL AS (“we”, “us” or “ColliXL”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal data when you visit collixl.no, contact us or have goods delivered by us.

The data controller is ColliXL AS, org. no. 934 838 785, Smalvollveien 48, 0667 Oslo, Norway.

02What personal data do we collect?

Which data we process depends on how you are in touch with us:

  • When you contact us: your name, company, email address and phone number, and whatever you write in the form or email — for example country, services you need, volume, number of pallet spaces and preferred start.
  • When we deliver goods to you: your name, phone number, email address, delivery address and delivery instructions, details of the order and delivery, and your signature on delivery where applicable. We receive this data from the shop or company that booked the delivery.
  • When you give us feedback: the rating and comment you give after the delivery.
  • When you are a business customer: names and contact details of contact persons, and data linked to user accounts in our customer portal.
  • When you apply for a job with us: the information you send us in your application.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type and device information when you use our website, tracking page or feedback page.

We do not collect payment information, and we do not read your location from your phone or browser.

03How do we use personal data?

We use personal data to:

  • Reply to enquiries and prepare quotes
  • Plan and carry out deliveries, collections and returns
  • Notify you about your delivery by text message, with a tracking link
  • Ask for feedback after the delivery and follow up on issues and complaints
  • Publish feedback on our website, with first names only
  • Manage agreements with and invoice our business customers
  • Assess job applications
  • Improve our services and protect our website and systems against misuse
  • Meet our legal obligations, such as bookkeeping

04Legal basis for processing

We process personal data on the following bases:

  • Contract: to carry out the deliveries and services we have agreed, and to answer requests before an agreement is made
  • Legitimate interest: to notify you about and follow up deliveries, ask for feedback, publish feedback with first names, follow up customers and enquiries, and protect our systems
  • Legal obligation: for accounting and bookkeeping requirements

05Sharing of personal data

We only share personal data when it is necessary:

  • Our drivers and staff: get access to what they need to carry out the delivery
  • The shop or company that booked the delivery: receives the status and confirmation of the delivery
  • Carriers: outside our zones we share the necessary delivery details with carriers such as Bring, PostNord or Collicare
  • Service providers: who help us run our website, database and systems, send text messages and emails, operate warehouse and delivery systems, keep our accounts and read shipping documents
  • Authorities: when the law requires it

We never sell your personal data. Some of our service providers are US companies, so data may be processed outside the EU/EEA.

06How long do we keep personal data?

We only keep personal data for as long as the purpose requires:

  • Enquiries via the website: for as long as needed to follow up the enquiry and any customer relationship
  • Delivery and order data: for as long as needed for the delivery, returns, complaints and our agreement with the shop — and accounting records for as long as Norwegian bookkeeping law requires
  • Feedback: for as long as it is relevant to improving our service. We remove published feedback if you ask us to
  • Job applications: for as long as the recruitment process is ongoing

The tracking links we send by text message stop working after 30 days.

07Your rights

You have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

  • Access: the right to know what data we hold about you
  • Rectification: the right to have errors corrected
  • Erasure: the right to have data deleted
  • Restriction: the right to restrict processing
  • Data portability: the right to receive your data in a structured format
  • Objection: the right to object to processing
  • Complaint: the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet)
